It All Revolves Around the Sun! Moons, planets, light, worlds, they all revolve around the Sun! This monoprint was created on a press using multiple layers of colors and textures, then collage was applied on top consisting of lithographs and monoprints. The composition also features a graphite drawing of a moon. Print is labeled as Artist Proof, AP 1/1 and signed by Yulia Hanansen.
This original, award-winning monoprint is part of the “Planets, Stars, and Transits” series. Monoprint, chine-colle (collage) and pencil drawing. This artwork was printed on a press in multiple layers of colors and textures, then elements were collaged on top and the whole print has been enhanced by color pencil marks that help blend the scene and create a delicate line work. Print is attached to a 22″x30″ background paper and can be framed as is or it can be matted and then framed.
